Welcome to my blog!

Here, I share insights and summaries of the projects I’ve worked on. Whether you’re curious about digital learning, instructional design, or just want a glimpse into my work, feel free to explore!

STEM competition in the Schoollab Experio

It's a great project that makes my heart beat faster! As part of a two-day STEM competition, we created an immersive learning environment in which students were challenged with realistic scenarios, such as earthquake missions and rainforest research. The young people faced exciting tasks. On the first day, they had to transport water as far as possible in the context of an earthquake. On the second day, they had to carry water to great heights to supply researchers in tree shelters.

Exploring Student and Teacher Perspectives in AI-Supported Classrooms

Master’s Thesis for the Degree of Master of Science (M.Sc.) Supervisors: Prof. Dr. Tomohiro Nagashima & Dr. Man Su The increasing use of AI-supported technologies in classrooms is changing the roles of both students and teachers – particularly regarding student responsibility and autonomy. In a speed-dating-style interview study with 16 students and 15 teachers from secondary schools in Germany, perceptions and preferences regarding the use of AI in teaching were explored.

From Crisi to Confidence: An Intro intro Replication Crisis and Open Science

Interactive Learning Session on the Replication Crisis Developed in a group project for the Instructional Design II course in the Master's program Educational Technology, this learning unit introduces learners to the replication crisis in empirical research using Articulate Storyline 360. The unit explores why the replicability of scientific findings is crucial for the relevance and generalizability of results (Open Science Collaboration, 2015), and emphasizes how research decisions impact outcome quality (Diener & Biswas-Diener, 2023).
